On the 23rd March 2020, Prime Minister Boris Johnson issued an instruction for everyone to remain in their homes except for very limited purposes. Any customer due to depart for their holiday before 3rd July 2020 can amend their booking now. You are able to do this easily online through your account.

During these difficult times the safety of our people, our customers and our property owners is of paramount importance to us.

The situation is changing daily. We continue to follow guidance from the government, and we are keeping this page and our policies under constant review.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) - what you need to know | Updated 13 May 8am

We recognise the situation of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is unsettling and we want to reassure you we are closely monitoring the situation and following Government guidance.

On 10 May, the UK Government issued new guidance on how we can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means staying at home as much as possible; limiting contact with other people; and keeping your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible).

In response to the most recent Government guidance, we have made the decision to postpone all breaks at all Warner hotels up to 2 July 2020. Guests booked on these breaks should not travel to Warner.

Breaks before 2 July 2020 - important information

This information only applies to guests that did not cancel their break before 19 March 2020.

There is no need to contact us today. The full value of your break has been automatically moved into the hold account and you have 2 options:
When you rebook, you will receive a £100 voucher to spend at the hotel if you choose a break of three-nights or more (£50 for a two-night break or £25 for a one-night break). This voucher is per room and is based on two people sharing.
Alternatively, you can have a full refund of your break.

We are working hard to reschedule your entertainment to later in the year and we will be in touch with a new rescheduled break, which you can choose to book if you wish.

We will contact you as soon as we can to ask which option you prefer. This may take us a number of weeks due to the volume of guests impacted by this situation.

In detail:

- There is no need to contact us today. We will contact you to discuss your booking.
- The full value of your break has been automatically moved into the hold account.
- You can use your hold account money to rebook another break at any time in the next 12 months, choosing either:
- A replacement holiday of a standard comparable to that booked and of the same value paid;
- A replacement holiday of lesser value together with a payment of the difference by us;
- A replacement holiday of higher value with a payment of the difference by yourself.
- Any guest who rebooks for another break will receive a £100 voucher, 1 per room, added to your next break.
- If you choose a refund, payments made by debit or credit cards will be repaid to the same card. This may take up to 28 days to process. Where Warner holiday vouchers have been used these may be transferred to another holiday, but no refund of the value of the vouchers will be given. You will not receive a £100 voucher if you choose a refund.
- If you have booked with a 3rd party, coach operator, travel agent or online booking agency, please contact them directly as they hold your booking details.

FURTHER CHANGES TO OUR OPENING PERIODS - Latest update - 9.30am, 13th May 2020

Following on from the latest Government announcements, we’re now working through what the proposed plans mean for Butlin’s. We’re hopeful that we can open again in the not too distant future but in the meantime, we’re extending the closure of our resorts until the 2nd July.
 
If your break has been affected, the below options are available to you. We’re working through in date order so please don’t worry if your break is coming up soon or your arrival date passes and you haven’t heard from us - all of your options remain open to you and we will respond to everyone. 
 
Our team are working from home so it may take a little longer to get back to you than we would like, but we have been able to help the majority of guests affected to date, either to find a new break in the future or process a refund. ​
 
We know this is a worrying time for our guests who fall outside of our cancellation period, which is why we’ve launched a new Guarantee for all guests who have an existing booking with us. The Coronavirus Book with Confidence Guarantee gives you the option to move your break, or cancel and request a full refund. We just ask you wait until at least 28 days prior to your arrival date before getting in touch with us as we prioritise those guests who have had their breaks cancelled. ​

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOUR BOOKING?

We understand that you'll need more flexibility during these uncertain times, so we’d like to offer you the following options. 

We’re asking you to complete a form to give us an indication of how you would like to manage your break.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE - Updated 11.05.20

It’s not goodbye… we’re just pressing pause on holidays until 4th July.

We hope that you are all safe and well and following all the Government's instructions

After the latest Government’s announcements today (11 May) extending the UK Covid -19 restrictions, our resorts will now remain closed until 4 July.

Please keep checking back here as we’ll review this as and when the Government next changes its current advice.

Our decision is based on the Government’s clear advice for the Hospitality industry to remain closed until July 4th, which explicitly included Hotels and all Holiday accommodation and facilities in England.

For guests booked to stay between now and up to 3 July only

We’d like to reassure you that your holiday is important to us and your booking and all monies paid are safe and secure. To be as flexible as we can in these uncertain times, we have set up some very simple ways for you to alter your holiday online and of course our call centre team is on hand too to help.

Please choose one of the following options:

- REBOOK - Same Dates 2021- You can move your holiday booking to the same arrival dates in May or  June 2021 for the same value as you paid this year, so there are no extra costs for you.

To choose this option, please click here and fill in the form, we will do the rest and you will receive the new confirmation in the next few days.


- CREDIT VOUCHER -We provide you with a holiday credit voucher to the value of what you have currently paid toward your holiday. This means that you don’t have to choose your replacement holiday dates right at this moment, you are free to rebook your stay for any time up until 31 December 2021 but you need to book this by 31 December 2020 to get it in the diary. The credit will stay on your holiday account with us until you choose to rebook.

To choose this option click here and fill in the form, we will do the rest and you will receive your voucher in the next few days.


- CALL US -If you’d rather rebook your holiday for another date in 2020, we will need to do this over the phone, but by all means search for your preferred dates on the website first. If the date of this holiday is less than you paid, we’ll refund the difference back to you. If the value is higher then you’ll need to pay the outstanding balance. You’ll need to speak to our reservations team to do this or to discuss any other aspect of your booking.


Please be patient and bear in mind that we wish to deal with every guest booking to the best of our ability, our call centre staff are now all home based and have secure access to all our systems but they remain incredibly busy and we are speaking to as many of our guests daily as we can. We will have or shortly will be emailing you about your affected booking and please only call if your arrival date is in the next 7 days.


For holidays arriving from 4th July onwards, what should you do?

Currently, if you are due to arrive anytime from 4th July onward, the Government have given the clear indication that we should be able to open the Resorts. Your booking remains valid and our booking terms and conditions of your holiday do fully apply.  If that date changes due to further Government instruction we will naturally let you know prior to your arrival date.

So right now we ask you to please just bear with us as the call centre is very busy, and keep an eye on this page and your emails and we’ll update you when and if the Government’s advice changes.

If you receive a letter reminding you that the balance of your holiday is due, (Arrival from July 4th Onward) please pay it in line with our booking terms and conditions as these are still valid for your booking, your monies paid are safe and secure.

When the resorts do open, we will continue to follow the latest Government’s advice regarding our self catering accommodation, leisure facilities, bars and restaurants, as we always hold the safety of our guests and our staff as our number one priority.

This isn’t the last you’ll hear from us as we expect further advice from the Government in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on this page and we’ll update you if anything changes as soon as we can.

UPDATE 12 MAY 2020 at 10:00am - IMPORTANT HOLIDAYMAKER COMMUNICATION

At Haven we pride ourselves on providing millions of families with holidays on the Great British coast each year. Sadly, this year we have only been able to welcome a fraction of these to our parks due to the serious coronavirus situation.

The coronavirus continues to affect the lives of each and every one of us – from our guests to our owners to our teams. As we continue to follow the direction provided by the Government it is now clear we will be unable to offer the usual Haven experience for a longer period of time, and so we have taken the decision to temporarily extend the closure of all our parks. 

Our parks will remain closed until THURSDAY 2 JULY 2020 - This, we're sure you understand is totally beyond our control and we are really sorry for the disappointment caused to anyone who was looking forward to their coastal break. 

If you have an affected break, we will be in contact with you directly via email and will offer you the following options: 

- Enjoy a Credit towards a holiday later in 2020 or for 2021, PLUS you'll receive a £50 Food and Beverage voucher to spend on Park. 

- A full refund

We will be working through all affected breaks in arrival date order. We would like to thank everyone for their patience whilst we work through this as quickly as we can.

We are contacting all guests with affected breaks, offering a number of options as we need to change their booking. We have been in contact with all guests who have affected breaks up until 31 May 2020. We are now contacting everyone who has a break booked between 1 June – 2 July 2020.

We trust you appreciate that we are all working in extreme and unprecedented times and because of this the Haven team is working remotely. We are receiving high levels of inbound calls and emails as well as social media messages and we are doing our very best to respond as quickly as we can. 

This decision has been made with the safety and security of our guests and teams as our number one priority.

Latest information about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it might affect your break.
As a responsible family-run holiday provider the safety of our guests and team members is naturally something we've always and always will take very seriously. We are keeping a close eye on the developments associated with the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the regular announcements by HM Government. We know this may be disappointing for many guests, but we have decided to temporarily suspend welcoming all guests to our Parks until Sunday 31st May 2020.
All our Parks are now closed to holiday guests and we plan to re-open on Monday 1st June 2020.
Whilst our decisions are based on the advice of HM Government, we recognise that the many families who have trusted us with their holiday booking do require clarity as do our dedicated team members. We are maintaining our Parks in a state of constant readiness for the moment it's safe and reasonable to welcome our guests for their wonderful family holidays.
We'll continue to inform affected guests pro-actively by email of any changes to any breaks as well as updating this information hub.

Getting in touch about your holiday

We appreciate these are unsettling times and you may have questions that simply none of us have the answers to. We've tried our best to put together some frequently asked questions from what we already know... we're watching the same daily televised updates you are and our senior management team reviews all the advice reguarly so if anything impacts on existing bookings we will be in contact with affected guests as soon as possible.
We absolutely know that your holiday is important to you and many guests are keen to have their bookings dealt with quickly, but with thousands of guests already impacted by this temporary closure we kindly ask you please do not contact us about your booking until you have received the EMAIL with booking options from us - we are supporting our guests in arrival date order based on whether their holiday is already cancelled:
Arrivals up to 14th May: Our team are prioritising customers whose holiday date has passed or is approaching, to ensure the speediest resolution please refer to the latest email we have sent to you.
Arrivals from 15th to 31st May: As you will no longer be able to holiday with us as planned, we will be in touch with you in the coming weeks to give you the option to either move your holiday to another date or receive a full refund. In order to manage this as quickly as possible, we will be contacting affected holidaymakers by email and, due to many thousands of booking affected, it will take us several weeks to complete this process in full, so we would like to ask for your patience. Our team are supporting customers whose holidays have been cancelled up to 14th May and the sooner we complete that process then the sooner we can be in contact with you, so we ask for your kind assistance in not contacting us at this time.
Arrivals from 1st June: Our team cannot assist you by telephone at this time as we are currently trying our very best to assist customers whose bookings we have cancelled; please refer to the frequently asked questions on this page. If after consulting the information below you need to contact us about a specific booking action then please use our email contact form and a team member will aim to respond to you within the next 14 days.
Understandably we're currently receiving a high volume of calls and messages at this time. Therefore, normal two-way conversations via social media or by email regarding affected bookings may not be possible due to the volume of enquiries and availability of staff. We apologise in advance for delays in our usual response times.
Due to social distancing measures we have a small team working through enquiries regarding re-booking holidays and refunds. Our opening hours are now from 9am to 4pm Mon-Sat so this is taking much longer than the usual level of service you'd have come to expect from us and for that we're very sorry. 
Every single booking has to be individually processed manually so we apologise that this means we are working through holidays as quickly as we can in order of the original arrival date.
